The Dahlia Worksop - Saturday 20th September 2025 (10.00am - 1.00pm) Come and join us at Bloom HQ to celebrate the magnificent Dahlia. A truly stunning flower, the humble Dahlia is the bloom that has truly stood the test of time. Once frowned upon, Dahlias have had a huge resurgence in recent years and are now popular for use in garden designs, wedding work, events and gift bouquets. A truly versatile flower that comes in a range of shapes, sizes, colours and forms - it demands to be celebrated and thats why I've created this workshop. During the workshop we will have time to discuss everything you need to know about Dahlias. For the green fingered among us we we will cover how to grow Dahlias, flower types, cutting and conditioning, general care, pest control and the options available with regards to storing dahlias over winter. Following the talk you will also have the opportunity to create a gorgeous arrangement using Dahlias cut from the Bloom HQ flower field. Bloom workshops are intentionally kept small (maximum 10 participants) so that you get the most from your session. Refreshments are included in your ticket price.
