Our Wedding Flowers workshop is aimed at a wide range of people, from aspiring florists, anyone who wants to learn how to create wedding flowers or for people wishing to. create their own wedding flowers or flowers for a loved ones wedding. No experience is necessary as full tuition will be provided. This is a full day course running from 10.00am - 4.00pm. During this workshop we will guide you through everything you need to know about making key wedding florals as well as how to select and condition your blooms correctly. On the day you will learn to create the following designs: - A hand tied bouquet - Following our natural Bloom style you will learn how to create a beautiful loose and romantic bouquet with our home grown flowers and foliage. We will teach you the correct techniques to create a beautiful design, flower and foliage selection and how to tie off your design with ribbons and silks. Should you have a specific design in mind please let us know ahead of time and Im sure we can incorporate this. - A buttonhole - A bouquet in miniature, buttonholes are a staple design for weddings and believe it or not these can often be more fiddly than larger bouquets! We will show you how to create a buttonhole, the many ways to afix them and equip you with the knowledge on how best to prepare them in advance and keep them fresh. We can also create dried designs if required. - A table centrepiece - We create lots of individual pieces for table centres and top table displays and in this workshop we will teach you how you can do this yourself including ways you can modify designs and mechanics to act as multifunctional pieces. All of our teachings use sustainable mechanics without the use of floral foam and flowers from the flower field. Should you wish to focus on any other designs please let us know so we can incorporate this in to your workshop.
